I completed my PhD under Prof Pleasantine Mill and Dr Luke Boulter, looking to understanding the role of primary cilia in maintaining hepatic bile duct homeostasis. In particular, I focused on how their loss contributed to cholangiopathies (biliary diseases).
I am now a CSO (Scottish Government) Postdoctoral Fellow looking to understand how human genetics and cilia dysfunction disrupt normal tissue biology to promote polycystic liver disease.
